Chicago Bandits - 2008 NPF World Champions

The Chicago Bandits hosted a pair of All-Star games Wednesday night at the Ballpark at Rosemont. The first game featured the 16-U Beverly Bandits vs. an All-Star team composed of freshmen and sophomores from around the area. The night was capped off by a game featuring the 18-U Beverly Bandits vs. a junior/senior All-Star team.

Softball fans will have two unique opportunities to enjoy Chicago Bandits games while helping support the Les Turner ALS Foundation. As the Bandits’ official charity partner, the Les Turner ALS Foundation will be the beneficiary of two events at The Ballpark at Rosemont; the Diamond Dare Charity Baseball Game on Tuesday, June 25 and ALS Awareness Night on Thursday, August 15.

(Photo by Dina Kwit) The Bandits welcome the USSSA Pride to Rosemont for a four-game series, which will ultimately determine the leader in the NPF standings. Both teams currently sit atop the leaderboard with 6-2 records. The Bandits traveled to NY/NJ to play the Comets for their first road games of the season, taking the series 3-1 for the second series in a row. The Bandit’s offense has outscored the opposition an impressive 59-22 in eight games played this season.
