Biography:
Chicago Bandits 2008: After coming over in an off-season trade with the Philadelphia Force, Thorson has had an action packed season for the Bandits...Thorson has been dubbed the "anti Jennie Finch" by various Chicago media outlets, primarily because of her many tattoos and piercings and the black eye make-up she dons for every start...Thorson went 12-5 with three saves and a 2.37 ERA in 121.2 innings…The 12 wins were good for third in the NPF…Thorson started 19 games and pitched 10 complete games…In facing 496 batters , Thorson allowed 93 hits, 41 earned runs, 29 walks, eight doubles and 16 home runs…The former California alum tallied 104 strikeouts, which ranked sixth in the league...On the mound off the field, Thorson has appeared in various newspapers including the Chicago Tribune and Elgin Courier. On the Radio, Thorson has been a guest host for weather and sports on WRMN 1410 AM "Thorsday's" and had a lengthy and entertaining interview session with the hosts - Mike Greene and Mike Hunziker.
Philadelphia Force 2007: Went 14-5 with 1.22 ERA en route to capturing 2007 NPF Rookie of the Year award….completed 12 of 18 starts over 116.2 innings…in 415 at bats, allowed 76 hits and 20 earned runs…walked 35 opponents…gave up eight doubles, six home runs, and zero triples…struck out 115 batters…elected to NPF All-Star game.

2006: PAC-10 Pitcher of the Year and medal winner… First-Team Easton All-American…Second-Team NFCA All-American…First-Team All Pacific Region…First-Team All PAC-10…set Cal single season record for wins (36) and saves (5)…set Cal career record for saves (12)…became only 3rd Cal pitcher to get 100 wins and 1,000 strikeouts…lead the PAC-10 in eight pitching categories: ERA(.83), innings pitched (302), strike outs (461), batters struck out looking (174), wins (36), saves (5), appearances (53), games started (40).

Personal: Kristina gives pitching lessons and classes working on speed, explosion, and strengthening for teams, classes or individual kids out in California…daughter of John and Virginia Thorson…first picked up a softball with her mom and younger brother, Jeffrey, at a school when she was about 5…majored in public health.
